The Cyber Garage is a nonprofit, community Tech Lab and Makerspace for kids in grades K-12, who want to Create, Invent, Tinker and Discover.

Why We Do It
We saw a need in the community for a fun, safe and supportive place where kids can go to develop their full creative potential through technology and project based learning.
In a quickly changing world, we are dedicated to helping the makers, explorers, entrepreneurs, and leaders of tomorrow. From Moms to Makers
We are two moms with a combined total of 6 kids, ranging in age from 6-15. Our kids are always full of ideas and eager to create, make, tinker and explore the world and how things work.

The Challenge
Finding new and engaging opportunities for our kids outside of school was a constant challenge for us.
In 2016, our then 3rd and 6th graders participated in Odyssey of the Mind, a project-based competition that fosters creativity, ingenuity, collaboration and tons of ”making”.
When the competition was over, our kids wanted even more hands-on experiences, and asked if they could turn our garages into workshops for them and all their friends.[/vc_column_text][spacer height=”5″][vc_column_text]
That got us thinking!
We decided to create a space where kids of all ages could explore their curiosity and creativity, with cutting edge tools, equipment and expert teachers.
