Students will design, build and decorate all types of introductory robots from moving hands to fun to race robots with motors. Kids will strip wires and connect up the electronics, and have the option to customize their bots with a variety of craft materials. Students will use a variety of materials from cardboard to paints to fabrics to create their dream design, and then bring it to life with lights, sounds and motion using Little Bits Gizmos and Gadgets. Little Bits is a platform of easy to use electronic building blocks that snap together with magnets – no soldering, no wiring, no programming needed. Students will build curiosity and creative confidence, develop critical thinking, and foster collaborative teamwork. There will be take home projects in this class.
